class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The IIUM Legal Aid Services Unit provides\u00a0legal counselling services, advisory or\u00a0legal assistance on any legal problems\u00a0involving Civil and Shariah law.<\/p><p>AIKOL has introduced the legal clinic programme since the year of 2000\u00a0and so far, it has been managed and conducted successfully under a\u00a0coordinator appointed by the Kulliyyah. This clinic is to assist the\u00a0vulnerable by providing advice and guideline in settling disputes and\u00a0grievances for the single mother and the children either from the IIUM\u00a0community and local community living within the vicinity of Gombak. At the same time, it is also to assist lecturers in upgrading practical knowledge especially in the interpretation and application of the existing legal provisions in solving the problems. Apart from enhancing legal awareness to the public at large by organizing legal talk, seminar, conference, forum, RTD or workshop, this programme is also a platform to provide training in legal
