Experts from Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) shares their opinions with colleagues from the Yayasan Canselor, National University of Malaysia on the law of trust, endowment and <em>waqf<\/em> as platforms for financial sustainability of universities.<\/p><p>In welcoming the delegates, Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of AIKOL expresses his happiness that colleagues from the Yayasan Canselor have chosen to come to AIKOL in recognising the expertise of the Kulliyyah in both in civil law and Shariah related to the law of trust, endowment, <em>waqf, <\/em>wills and <em>hibah<\/em>.<\/p><p>Prof Sharifah Zubaidah Syed Abdul Kader, Prof Nor Asiah Mohamad, Assoc Prof Zuraidah Ali, Assoc Prof Badruddin Ibrahim and Assoc Prof Akmal Hidayah Halim explain the differences of the platforms under the civil law and Shariah and its application in Malaysia. They also analyse the differences between the platforms and the experiences of local universities in implementing it.<\/p><p>Assoc Prof Amizawati Mohd Amir, the Deputy Director of Yayasan Canselor together with Assoc Prof Haniff Ahamat from the Office of Legal Adviser thank the Kulliyyah for the sharing session.<\/p><p>Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib offers the service of Harun M.
