INTRODUCTION<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>

Master of Science in Built Environment<\/strong> programme <\/span>integrates Islamic values and principles into its <\/span>curriculum including the courses taught and research <\/span>areas. The intention of incorporating Islamic values <\/span>into the programme is to produce graduates who are <\/span>not only knowledgeable in their field but also <\/span>nurturing a person as the Khalifah first, a professional <\/span>second that responsible for the environment and <\/span>dimensions of the spaces they design. <\/span>The programme aims to produce graduates with <\/span>adequate knowledge and skills in relevant built <\/span>environment fields such as Architecture, Landscape <\/span>Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Urban and Regional <\/span>Planning and Applied Arts and Design. <\/span>Other than that, the programme offers opportunities <\/span>for research, specialisation, and hands-on <\/span>experience, the incorporation of Islamic built <\/span>environment, the application of Islamic principles of <\/span>sustainability and environmental stewardship. Hence, <\/span>with these focuses, the Master of Science in Built <\/span>Environment distinguishes itself apart from other <\/span>institutions.<\/span><\/p>

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES<\/b><\/span><\/p>

1) Graduates will demonstrate a mastery of research skills to <\/span>recommend solutions in addressing the built environment <\/span>issues.<\/span>
2) Graduates will exhibit a strong commitment to ethical and <\/span>sustainable practices while demonstrating leadership skills <\/span>within the built environment.<\/span>
3) Graduates will communicate ideas and research findings <\/span>using digital skills and demonstrate collaborative skills by <\/span>working with professionals across disciplines in addressing <\/span>built environment issues.<\/span>
