Among them are deforestation and other land use changes, antimicrobial resistance, intensified agricultural livestock production, illegal and irregular wildlife trade, as well as climate change. As a result, the adverse health effects due to these biodiversity disturbances are evidenced through their influence on the epidemiology of infectious diseases that are highly sensitive to ecological change. This led to the emergence of various infectious diseases, such as COVID-19 now. Ecological landscape planning offers a theoretical framework and methods that can help drive the efficient use of natural resources as well as environmental protection. The concept of bioecology and human ecology methods reduce the destructive effects of development in urban areas, conserve green areas and practice low impact as well as environmentally friendly development. Green infrastructure is a strategy to improve and expand ecosystems and wildlife habitats. Changes and damage to flora and fauna in a particular area led to a modification of interactions between biota, in turn causing altered relationships between the organism and its physical environment. Collectively, planting and protecting existing native plants has great potential to curb this local biodiversity loss. Environmental conservation is an innovation that must be taken to address challenges and help prevent risks as well as epidemics from spreading to public health

https://www.bharian.com.my/kolumnis/2021/08/846504/keseimbangan-biodiversiti-kekang-penyakit-bawaan-haiwan

No Newspaper Published Date Author(s) / Dept.
