Heritage Lab in the Kulliyyah of Architecture \u00a0and \u00a0Environmental \u00a0Design, International \u00a0Islamic \u00a0University \u00a0Malaysia was established since the Department of Architecture \u00a0started \u00a0to \u00a0run \u00a0the \u00a0AAR 3302 Heritage Studies course in the year 2000. Heritage Studies is one of the core courses for the Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies programme. Under the course, students and staff had travelled the world from as far as Egypt to China and throughout the Malay \u00a0archipelago \u00a0to \u00a0document \u00a0heritage buildings that are historical architecturally significant to the spread of Islam.
