Dr. Jongkil Jay Jeong is a Senior Research Fellow in the School of Computing and Information System, University of Melbourne.

In addition, he is a CyberCRC Senior Research Fellow at Deakin University. His current research focuses on the human-centric aspects of cyber security such as:

• Adoption of next-generation authentication and identity technologies.
• Quantification of human-centric cyber risk and its impact on cyber insurance.
• Enhancing Cyber Security Education Training & Awareness (SETA) programs.
• Cyber security maturity building for nations.

Prior to his current role, he was a Research Fellow at Monash University, investigating how a nations cybersecurity capability is influenced by socio-cultural factors. This research was undertaken in conjunction with the Oceania Cyber Security Centre (OCSC) and Oxford University.
