Assoc. Prof Dr. Norsaremah Salleh

Dr. Norsaremah is an Associate Professor at the Computer Science Department, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). She has more than 20 years experience as an academic, and prior to that, she spent almost 5 years in the manufacturing industry as Software Developer. She worked as Visiting Researcher at the University of Oulu, Finland during her sabbatical. Her research interests include the areas of empirical software engineering and evidence based software engineering. She has been awarded to date, either as project leader or co-researcher, a total of RM900k+ research grants. She has published over 80 papers in local and reputable international refereed journals and conferences and received >2.7k citations. This includes publications in high impact journals such as IEEE Transactions on Software Engineering, Information & Software Technology, Empirical Software Engineering, IEEE Software and  Journal of Systems and Software. Currently, she serves in the Editorial Board of ACM Computing Surveys (as Associate Editor). She is also a senior member of IEEE, panel assessor for Ministry of Higher Education grants (FRGS) and also a detailed assessor for the Australian Research Council (ARC) grants.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Azlin Nordin

Dr. Azlin Nordin is a senior academic with over two decades of experience in the field of Computer Science. Currently, she serves as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computer Science, Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT) at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).

Prior to joining KICT in 2005, she was a faculty member at the Faculty of Information Technology, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) from 2000 to 2005. Her educational journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from the University of Manchester, a Master of Science in Computer Science-Real Time Software Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and a Bachelor of Information Technology with Honors from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

In addition to her academic qualifications, she holds professional certifications, including Certified Professional Requirements Engineering and Certified Testing Foundation Level.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Norazura Zakaria

Noor Azura Zakaria received her PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) focusing on the Value-Based Software Process Tailoring. She is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science in Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT). She is currently the Head of Responsible Research and Innovation in KICT. Her research interests include Software Engineering, Software Development, Software Process Tailoring and Telehealth. She has been awarded numerous university, national, and international research grants related to software engineering and telehealth for autism and learning disabilities. She has worked with the Special Learning Centre in developing a screening system for children with autism. In addition, in one of her secured grants, she is currently developing a system as a one-stop centre for parents with autistic children to obtain relevant information pertaining to autism and interact with experts to assist them with their children’s issue.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Siti Asma Mohammed

Siti Asma Mohammed obtained his PhD degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Systems and Science Management. Prior to joining IIUM in February 2016, she was a lecturer at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) from Feb 2006 – Feb 2016. She also worked as a software tester in Cyberjaya for two years before joining academics. She had been working with Multimedia Development Corporation (MDEC) together with the Sapura team in conducting system testing for the MSC status companies.

Her research interest is in the area of evaluation of system and information quality practices. Among her research work involved real industry experiences at two prominent tertiary healthcare organizations in Sydney, Australia and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Both researches were to evaluate the data and information quality practices, which involved the business process reengineering (BPR) of the clinical process and reverse engineering of the data model. Apart from that, she is also interested in doing research in the software engineering discipline. She has been awarded numerous grants as project leader and co-researchers. She was also being appointed as subject matter expert for two development projects in the university.
