Their key areas of research include:<\/p><ol><li>3D Imaging and Analysis of Craniofacial Structures<br \/><em>Utilizing advanced imaging techniques such as 3D Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), the group performs detailed analyses of craniofacial anatomy to improve diagnosis, treatment planning, and surgical interventions.<\/em><\/li><li>Craniofacial Anomalies and Syndromes<br \/><em>The group researches imaging of craniofacial deformities, including cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis, and other congenital conditions. Their work aims to optimize imaging protocols to better understand structural variations and support corrective treatments.<\/em><\/li><li>Orthodontic and Orthognathic Surgical Planning<br \/><em>Research in this area focuses on using imaging for precise diagnosis and treatment planning in orthodontics and orthognathic surgery, particularly for complex cases requiring high-precision imaging for successful outcomes.<\/em><\/li><li>Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Disorders<br \/><em>The team explores TMJ disorders using advanced imaging to identify abnormalities, improve diagnostic accuracy, and enhance treatment approaches for patients with TMJ-related dysfunctions.<\/em><\/li><li>AI in Dental and Craniofacial Imaging<br \/><em>The research group integrates Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning into craniofacial imaging to develop automated systems for the detection, segmentation, and analysis of craniofacial structures.
