1. PHD IN ENGINEERING<\/strong><\/span>
A relevant bachelor\u2019s degree (honours) in Engineering and a master\u2019s degree in Engineering or a related field from the IIUM or any other accredited institution of higher learning.<\/span><\/p>

2. MASTER OF SCIENCE BY RESEARCH<\/strong><\/span>
i. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in the Engineering or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as<\/span>
accepted by the Senate; or<\/span>
ii. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in the Engineering or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not<\/span>
meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or<\/span>
iii. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in the Engineering or related fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not<\/span>
meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant<\/span>
field and rigorous internal assessment.<\/span>
iv. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or relevant working experience must undergo<\/span>
appropriate pre-requisite courses endorsed by the Senate and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i) to (iii).<\/span><\/p>

3. MASTER OF SCIENCE BY COURSEWORK<\/strong><\/span>
i. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 or equivalent, as<\/span>
accepted by the Senate; or<\/span>
ii. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Engineering or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not<\/span>
meeting a CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.<\/span>
iii. Candidates without a qualification in the related fields or working experience in the relevant fields must<\/span>
undergo appropriate prerequisite courses determined by the Senate and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i)<\/span>
to (ii).<\/span><\/p>

4. MASTER OF SCIENCE BY MIXED MODE<\/strong><\/span>
i. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in the field or related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent, as accepted by<\/span>
the Senate; or<\/span>
ii. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in the Engineering or related fields or equivalent with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not<\/span>
meeting CGPA of 2.75, can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment; or<\/span>
iii. A Bachelor\u2019s degree in the Engineering or related fields or equivalent with minimum CGPA of 2.00 and not<\/span>
meeting CGPA of 2.50, can be accepted subject to a minimum of 5 years working experience in the relevant<\/span>
field and rigorous internal assessment.<\/span>
iv. Candidates without a related qualification in the field\/s or working experience in the relevant fields must<\/span>
undergo appropriate pre-requisite courses endorsed by the Senate and meet the minimum CGPA based on (i)<\/span>
to (iii).<\/span><\/p>

5. FAST-TRACK ADMISSION<\/strong><\/span>
Undergraduate students with the following qualifications can be recruited directly into the Ph.D. programme:<\/span><\/p>

ii. Students graduated from a Bachelor programme in Engineering with First Class Honors or its equivalent; or<\/span>
iii. Graduated with a CGPA of 3.67 or its equivalent in an academic programme; and<\/span>
ii. The admission is subjected to Centre of Studies approval.<\/span><\/p>
