The University of Hong Kong (HKU)\r\n    <\/strong>\r\n\r\n    as part of an inbound student mobility programme held from\r\n\r\n    <strong>\r\n        3rd to 20th June 2025.\r\n    <\/strong>\r\n\r\n    The programme commenced with an official opening and welcoming\r\n    ceremony on 4th June 2025 at the Kulliyyah of Nursing.\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"kon-hku-text\">\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        The students \u2014\r\n        <strong>Mr. Pang Tsz Yin (Ivan)<\/strong> and\r\n        <strong>Ms. Chau Chui Ying (Candy)<\/strong> \u2014 were warmly\r\n        received by members of the KON academic staff and student body.\r\n        The session introduced them to IIUM\u2019s vision and mission, its\r\n        multicultural academic setting, and the integral role of nursing\r\n        in delivering holistic and compassionate care within Malaysia\u2019s\r\n        healthcare system.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<!-- =========================================================\r\n     CLINICAL AND ACADEMIC EXPOSURE\r\n========================================================= -->\r\n\r\n<div class=\"kon-hku-card\">\r\n\r\n    <h2 class=\"kon-hku-card-title\">\r\n        Clinical, Academic and Community Exposure\r\n    <\/h2>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        Over the course of two weeks, the exchange programme offered the\r\n        students an enriching blend of clinical immersion, academic\r\n        exploration and cultural learning.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        Their journey began with a clinical visit to the\r\n        <strong>Hemodialysis Unit at SASMEC @IIUM<\/strong> and the\r\n        <strong>IIUM Dialysis Centre, Kulliyyah of Medicine<\/strong>,\r\n        followed by structured rotations through key hospital departments,\r\n        including the <strong>ICU, CCU, Paediatric Ward, Emergency\r\n        Department, Endoscopy Unit and medical-surgical wards<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        The students were also exposed to specialised services in maternal\r\n        and child health through visits to the\r\n        <strong>Halimatussaadia Mother\u2019s Milk Centre, Fertility Clinic\r\n        and Mobile Clinic<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"kon-hku-text\">\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        The visit took place during the clinical posting period of\r\n        Kulliyyah of Nursing students, providing meaningful opportunities\r\n        for interaction. The students were able to meet on-site, exchange\r\n        ideas and foster new friendships throughout the programme.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        Academic activities at KON included an in-depth tour of the\r\n        <strong>Clinical Skills Centre (CSC)<\/strong> and several\r\n        interactive sharing sessions with IIUM students and lecturers.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        Outside the clinical and academic settings, the students enjoyed\r\n        a cultural excursion which included celebrating\r\n        <strong>Eiduladha<\/strong> with local students at the renowned\r\n        Sate Zul restaurant in Kuantan. They also participated in a\r\n        community blood donation campaign in Gambang and visited\r\n        <strong>Klinik Kesihatan Beserah, a local school, PAWE and PDK<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n      Studio, where they participated in a special podcast recording\r\n        session entitled <strong>\u201cNursing Without Borders.\u201d<\/strong>\r\n        The session demonstrated how digital platforms can support\r\n        meaningful intercultural dialogue and connect future nurses\r\n        across borders.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"kon-hku-section-title\">\r\n    A Holistic Programme of Clinical, Academic and Community Exposure\r\n<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"kon-hku-text\">\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        The podcast session was hosted by <strong>Sr. Nurul Balqis<\/strong>,\r\n        a Year 2 nursing student from the Kulliyyah of Nursing, IIUM,\r\n        and provided a platform for intercultural dialogue.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        What made this engagement especially meaningful was that both\r\n        Ivan and Candy were interviewed in their native language,\r\n        <strong>Mandarin<\/strong>, allowing them to express their thoughts\r\n        and reflections with depth and authenticity.\r\n\r\n    <\/p>\r\n\r\n    <p>\r\n\r\n        They shared their views on the nursing profession, their experiences\r\n        of student life in Hong Kong and Malaysia, and the value of cultural\r\n        diversity in healthcare.
