On September 15, 2023, the IIUM Kuantan Merdeka Parade 2023 witnessed a vibrant display of unity and patriotism, with contingents from various Kulliyyahs and Department Offices, along with the enthusiastic participation of SASMEC @IIUM. Among the standout participants was the contingent from Kulliyyah of Nursing, whose resounding message of “Save A Life, You Are a Hero; Save A Thousand, You Are a Nurse” echoed through the parade grounds.<\/span><\/p>\n

Led by Asst. Prof. Dr. Azmir Ahmad, the Kulliyyah of Nursing’s marching band comprised lecturers from various departments, nurse officers, clinical nursing instructors, staff nurses, and administrative personnel. Their presence in the parade was a testament to the dedication and commitment of the nursing community in nurturing the future generation of Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\n

During the parade, the Kulliyyah of Nursing contingent showcased a thought-provoking gimmick\u2014a demonstration of baby choking. This impactful presentation aimed to highlight the critical role that nursing plays in safeguarding the health and well-being of the nation’s youth. Through this demonstration, the contingent sought to emphasize the importance of early intervention and care, ultimately shaping a healthier and more resilient future for Malaysia.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
