This launching ceremony is also one of the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy and IIUM Kuantan Campus showcases for the IIUM 40th anniversary celebration. Other activities in conjunction with the launching ceremony include a forest walk at IIUM Forest of \u2018Ilm for the VIP guests and a few pre-launching activities namely gotong-royong for preparing the forest, and solat hajat, tahlil and doa selamat by the working committee members, Dayabersih Sdn. The courses in Bachelor of Pharmacy programme that involve include PPPC 4251 Herbal Science and PPHK 4161 Final Year Research Project. It aims to expose the students with our nature\u2019s heritages of indigenous plants which have potential as sources of drug or herbal medicine. For now, 84 plant species have been identified and labelled with QR code which link to their descriptions in IIUM Forest of \u2018Ilm plant database. We are hoping that the forest will also benefit the campus as well as the university communities.
