One of the evidence-based strategies is to expand and enforce smoke free areas. IIUM, being a gazette smoke free area under the Control of Tobacco Product Regulations, is seriously looking into this issue as it touches many components of the Sustainable Development Goals, and more importantly, the Maqasid al-Syariah. <\/p>

Hence, having the Smoke Free Campus Flagship under the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy is indeed a step in the right decision. This provides the impetus towards increasing awareness regarding not only dangers of tobacco use, including cigarettes, shisha, and electronic cigarettes, but also offers help in the form of smoking cessation service. <\/p>
