The Department of Plant Science offer Bachelor of Science in Applied Plant Sciences (Honours). TheProgramme aimed at generating and nurturing competent and skilled graduates with knowledge in plant science with Islamic values to fulfil the needs of public and private sectors in teaching, research and management. The Courses  cover many exciting aspects of modern and conventional plant science, including plant taxonomy and anatomy, ethnobotany, plant diversity and breeding, plant chemistry, cell and molecular biology, genetic engineering, plant-pathogen and plant environment interactions, plant physiology and ecology, and several others.
