About

The Office of Deputy Dean (Postgraduate, Research and Innovation) of AHAS KIRKHS oversees 31 academic programmes offered by ten departments in the Kulliyyah. Currently, there are 789 students in those programmes. The office also oversees research and innovation activities, and advocates and applies Islamisation of human knowledge in the Kulliyyah’s academic curricula and activities.

Who We Are

We administer postgraduate matters (from admission to graduation), manage research projects/grants, and coordinate and advocate integrating Islamic perspectives into the Kulliyyah’s programmes.

What We Do

We manage 31 academic programmes offered by ten departments in the Kulliyyah. There are three modes of programme – by coursework, research and mixed mode. For programmes by coursework and mixed mode, we manage the courses, in terms of classes and their assessments. For programmes by research and mixed mode, we administer the research process – from research proposal to thesis examination.

For research, the Head of Research and Innovation Office manages registration and management of research grants. The office is also actively involved in finding research grant opportunities and organising training to help researchers secure research grants from various agencies.

For Islamisation of knowledge, the Coordinator of Islamisation of Human Knowledge Office organises workshops and intellectual activities to firmly integrate Islamisation of knowledge into the curricula and programmes in the Kulliyyah and beyond. It also organises the annual Ibadah Camp for the AHAS KIRKHS community.
