Supporting postgraduate study and research
The Office of Deputy Dean (Postgraduate, Research and Innovation) of AHAS KIRKHS oversees 31 academic programmes offered by ten departments in the Kulliyyah. Currently, there are 789 students in those programmes. The office also oversees research and innovation activities, and advocates and applies Islamisation of human knowledge in the Kulliyyah’s academic curricula and activities.
Who We Are
We administer postgraduate matters from admission to graduation, manage research projects and grants, and coordinate and advocate the integration of Islamic perspectives into the Kulliyyah’s programmes.
What We Do
Postgraduate Administration
The office manages postgraduate programmes offered across the Kulliyyah through coursework, research and mixed modes. It administers courses and assessments for coursework programmes, as well as the research process from proposal to thesis examination.
Research and Innovation
The Research and Innovation Office manages the registration and administration of research grants. It identifies funding opportunities and organises training to help researchers pursue grants from various agencies.
Islamisation of Human Knowledge
The office coordinates workshops and intellectual activities that integrate Islamisation of human knowledge into the Kulliyyah’s curricula and programmes. It also organises the annual Ibadah Camp for the AHAS KIRKHS community.
