Supporting students within and beyond the classroom
The Office of the Deputy Dean (Student Development and Community Engagement) supports the personal, leadership and co-curricular development of AHAS KIRKHS students. It also facilitates relationships between students, staff, communities and partner organisations.
Who We Are
We work with students and members of the Kulliyyah to encourage responsible leadership, student wellbeing, active participation and community-oriented service. Further information about the office’s mandate and priorities will be added following confirmation by the office.
What We Do
Student Development
The office supports activities that encourage students’ personal development, leadership abilities, participation and readiness to contribute responsibly to society.
Student Wellbeing and Support
The office helps connect students with appropriate guidance, support and opportunities within the Kulliyyah and the wider University. Details of specific services will be added after confirmation by the office.
Community Engagement
The office encourages constructive engagement between the Kulliyyah and communities through service, collaboration, outreach and student participation.
