INTRODUCTION

In 2000, the Kuliyyah started offering postgraduate programs to tackle the shortage of medical science educators in Malaysia and other developing nations. These programs aim to produce experts in medical sciences with a global perspective and skills in healthcare and research. Postgraduate students and faculty research will enhance medical education and knowledge locally and internationally.

The Postgraduate Office, operational since June 2000, has facilitated the development and management of thirteen postgraduate programs. Additionally, plans are underway to establish three clinical postgraduate programs in Emergency Medicine, Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Pediatrics within the next four years
