SKETMA 2025

We are proud to spotlight Sr. Sriviowarti binti Noerdin and Br. Shah Zaini bin Mokhtar for their exceptional excellence as winner for oral presentation and 1st runner up for poster presentation at the 16th Seminar Kebangsaan Teknologi Makmal (SKETMA) at Kulliyyah of Science,IIUM Kuantan.

The team project named “I-SPY” Perfusion Set, introduces a simplified, cost-effective perfusion system using disposable components. This innovation offers a practical and accessible alternative to commercial setups, especially benefiting educational and research institutions operating with limited resources.

The second project presented by Br. Shah Zaini titled: “Upcycled Euthanasia and Anaesthesia Chamber: A Low-Cost, Eco-Conscious Solution for Animal Research Laboratories,” tackled judges with its sustainability and affordability in a small scale animal research laboratories.

Congratulations to the whole team from the Department of Basic Medical Sciences for this great achievement.
