On 18th May 2026, the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy (KOP), IIUM successfully conducted the KOP Research Talk Series: Paper Writing in Journal Q1/Q2 at the KOP Main Meeting Room.

The Research Office, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, and the Sustainable Initiatives toward Healthy Living and Environment Flagship recently hosted the KOP Research Talk, an insightful session on how big data analytics is transforming patient care and outcomes. Held on the 29th of August 2024, the event focused on the potential of leveraging millions of patient datasets to revolutionize the healthcare industry.
The session, conducted online via Zoom, featured a presentation by the esteemed Prof. Dr. Che Suraya bt. Hj. Mohd. Zin from the Department of Pharmacy Practice, Kulliyyah of Pharmacy, IIUM. Prof. Dr. Che Suraya shared her expertise and insights on how big data is reshaping healthcare practices and improving patient outcomes.

KOP Research Talk: Role of Flavonoids in the Management of DiabetesĀ Mellitus
The Office of Responsible Research and Innovation at the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy organized a Research Talk on July 25, 2024. The event featured an invited speaker, Prof. Dr. Qamar Uddin Ahmed, who delivered a talk titled “Role of Flavonoids in the Management of Diabetes Mellitus.”
The insightful presentation covered the potential benefits and mechanisms of flavonoids in managing diabetes, highlighting recent research findings and clinical implications.
