The IIUM Legal Aid Services Unit provides legal counselling services, advisory or legal assistance on any legal problems involving Civil and Shariah law.

AIKOL has introduced the legal clinic programme since the year of 2000 and so far, it has been managed and conducted successfully under a coordinator appointed by the Kulliyyah. This clinic is to assist the vulnerable by providing advice and guideline in settling disputes and grievances for the single mother and the children either from the IIUM community and local community living within the vicinity of Gombak.
