
KOE Ibadah Camp 2025 Fosters Character Building and Brotherhood
Gombak, 7 August 2025 – The Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), successfully organized the KOE Ibadah Camp 2025 as part of its annual initiative to enhance spiritual growth, foster brotherhood, and instill Islamic values among its academic and administrative staff.
The camp was held at the kulliyyah compound from 7–8 August 2025], with the participation of more than 200 as academic and administrative staff of KOE.
Throughout the program, participants engaged in a range of activities, including qiyamullail, tazkirah, motivational talks, leadership sessions, and team-building activities. These sessions not only nurtured spiritual development but also strengthened unity, teamwork, and awareness of their shared responsibility in serving the university and society.
According to Dr. Norhanis Aida, the Ibadah Camp plays a vital role in reinforcing Islamic values within the KOE community while promoting a balance between professional excellence and spiritual well-being.
“This program provides a platform for staff to rejuvenate spiritually and strengthen bonds of ukhuwah, in line with IIUM’s mission of nurturing holistic individuals,” she said.
Participants also expressed that the camp was a meaningful experience that deepened their connection with Allah SWT and reinforced the spirit of working together as one team within KOE.
With the successful organization of this program, KOE reaffirms its commitment to cultivating a culture of ‘Tazkiyah: Purifying the Heart, Strengthening Brotherhood, Upholding Professional Integrity’, ensuring holistic development and professional growth among its staff in line with the university’s aspirations.
