Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and warm greetings to all members of the Kulliyyah of Engineering (KOE) community — our students, academic and administrative staff, alumni, industry partners, and friends of the Kulliyyah.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the Kulliyyah of Engineering. Our 30th anniversary celebration marks an important milestone in our journey as a dynamic and forward-looking engineering faculty within the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM).
At KOE, we take pride in our mission to produce holistic, competent, and ethically grounded engineers, guided by the IIUM vision for tawhidic epistemology and vision for ummatic excellence. Our programmes are designed not only to meet rigorous professional and accreditation standards, but also to nurture engineers who are conscious of their responsibilities to society, the environment, and the ummah. Engineering, in our worldview, is not merely about solving technical problems—it is about serving humanity with wisdom, integrity, and compassion.
As we move forward, let us continue to work together in the spirit of collaboration, excellence, and trust. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala bless our efforts, guide our intentions, and grant us success in fulfilling our amanah as educators, learners, and engineers for the betterment of society.
