The Kulliyyah of Education (KOED) presented its preliminary plans for the International Conference on Teacher Education in the Muslim World (ICTEM) 2027 to the Honourable Dato’ Sri Rector during a meeting on 15 September 2026. The presentation outlined the proposed conference’s vision, objectives, and implementation approach.
Tentatively scheduled for 19–20 October 2027, ICTEM 2027 aims to serve as a landmark platform, bringing together educators, researchers, and policymakers from across the globe to advance discourse, innovation, and practices in teacher education.
The proposed theme, “Empowering Teacher Educators through Tawhidic Education: Nurturing Ummatic Resilience in the 21st Century,” reflects the conference’s aspiration to strengthen scholarly collaboration and explore how Tawhidic education can empower teacher educators and nurture Ummatic resilience in addressing contemporary challenges.
