The Internationalization and Industrial Linkages Unit plays a crucial role in connecting the Kulliyyah of Education to the global academic and professional world. We strive to foster international collaborations, enhance student mobility, and build strong industry partnerships to enrich the educational experience and prepare our graduates for success in a globalized environment.

Our Key Roles:

1. Internationalization Initiatives:

   • We facilitate the recruitment of international students and staff.
   • We oversee the signing and implementation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Memoranda of Agreement (MoAs) with international institutions.
   • We enhance networking with Kulliyyah alumni, both locally and internationally.
   • We coordinate international visits and meetings with scholars, dignitaries, and other distinguished guests.
   • We disseminate information and statistics on internationalization, including international alumni, graduate employability, MoUs/MoAs, student and staff mobility, internships, and more.
   • We initiate invitations for renowned scholars, visiting professors, dignitaries, and high-profile international figures to the Kulliyyah and IIUM.
   • We propose partnerships leading to international joint degrees, twinning programs, and the introduction of Kulliyyah programs overseas.
   • We advise on the possibility of establishing parallel branches of the Kulliyyah or its programs overseas.
   • We promote the offering of Kulliyyah programs overseas through various modes of delivery, including satellite campuses.
   • We advise students and staff on immigration matters, including visas, student passes, dependent visas, passports, and other related issues.

2. Industry Linkages:

   • We foster strong relationships with industry partners to provide students with valuable internship and career opportunities.
   • We organize industry visits, guest lectures, and workshops to connect students with industry professionals.
   • We facilitate industry-sponsored research projects and collaborations.
