The Bachelor of Education Student Society (BESS) is a student organization for those enrolled in the Bachelor of Education program at the Kulliyyah of Education (KOED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). BESS aims to serve as a platform for students to enhance their academic, professional, and social experiences through the organisation of various activities, events, and initiatives that support the development of future educators and promote a sense of community within the kulliyyah

The Islamic Education Student Association (IESA) is an organization dedicated to representing and empowering students in the field of Islamic Education. Its primary objective is to cultivate Islamic knowledge among students and produce future exemplary educators (Murabbi). IESA is committed to nurturing students’ holistic development—physically, emotionally, spiritually, and intellectually—through supportive programs that promote continuous learning, self-improvement, and alignment with Islamic principles. By fostering unity within the KOED community, IESA strives to prepare students to become inspiring leaders and educators who lead with integrity and excellence.

The Association of Young Arabic Teachers (AYAT) develops young Arabic educators by enhancing language skills, leadership and Islamic values. It supports TASL students at IIUM through programs that bridge theoretical learning with practical application, fostering unity and professional growth while promoting quality education and community engagement.

The Counseling Students Association (CSA) empowers future counselors by fostering counseling skills, leadership qualities, and ethical values. It supports GUIDE students at IIUM through programs and initiatives that integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application, promotes personal growth and professional development while promoting mental health awareness, quality counseling practices, and active community engagement.

Founded in 2013, the TESL Students’ Society of International Islamic University Malaysia (TESS IIUM), now known as the TESL Students’ Association (TESLA), is an academic association dedicated to TESL students under the Kulliyyah of Education. With the vision of empowering TESL students to become future leading educators, TESLA strives to provide a transformative learning experience. Our mission is to promote academic excellence, foster community engagement, and develop essential soft skills. Through initiatives such as teaching simulations, volunteer opportunities, and skill-building events, TESLA equips students to apply their knowledge, advance their careers, and make meaningful contributions to society.

CHE’GU TV is a digital content platform for the Kulliyyah of Education (KOED) at IIUM, designed to enhance its reputation and provide students with hands-on experience in media production. Inspired by the term “Che’gu,” symbolizing educators as leaders, it equips students with skills in reporting, videography, graphic design, and public relations. CHE’GU TV shares beneficial content, connects the KOED community, and aims to produce versatile, skilled educators who excel in both teaching and digital media.
