The KOED IT Unit plays a crucial role in supporting the teaching, learning, and administrative activities of the Kulliyyah of Education. We are dedicated to providing reliable and efficient Information and Communication Technology (ICT) services to faculty, staff, and students.
Our Key Roles:
ICT Infrastructure Management: We represent the Kulliyyah at IT Coordination Meetings, ensuring that the Kulliyyah’s IT infrastructure remains aligned with university standards and best practices.
Equipment and Facility Management: We oversee the proper maintenance and inventory of all ICT equipment, facilities, and supplies, including site or server licensing, user access, and ensuring the security of all ICT equipment.
System Support and Upgrades: We manage the installation and maintenance of hardware and software, and recommend necessary upgrades to maintain efficient operations across the Kulliyyah.
KOED Website Maintenance: We are responsible for maintaining the functionality of the KOED website, ensuring it effectively promotes the Kulliyyah’s academic programs and showcases the expertise of our faculty.
Staff Training and Development: We provide comprehensive training to academic and administrative staff on various computer systems and applications, equipping them with the necessary computer skills to excel in their roles.
