About Programme
The course provides a professional development platform for local and international students. General English language courses often fail to meet the needs of learners with specific goals or interest. Therefore, this course is designed to fulfill those needs which focus in a specialized field such as Business English, Legal English, Medical English and etc.. Students will be exposed to workplace and academic cultures.

General Requirements
A Bachelor degree in relevant discipline or its equivalent with good grades
OR
Any other certificates to a Bachelor degree and relevant professional qualifications and experience that are recognized by the Senate of the University.
Specific Requirements
Obtained a CGPA of 2.75 and above in a related field
OR
Obtained a CGPA of less than 2.75 but possesses relevant working experience in the field applied

*Students who have been accepted on condition of providing evidence of English proficiency must submit their proficiency certificates before the beginning of the course. If they fail to do so, they will be required to sit for the IIUM-administered English Placement Test (EPT).
Other Requirements
If deemed necessary, applicants may also be required to attend an interview and/or take an entrance test conducted by the Board of Admissions.
