The Kulliyyah of Economics and Management Sciences (KENMS) was one of the first two faculties to be established when the International University Malaysia (IIUM) began operation in 1983. It started with the Department of Economics in 1983. Then came the Department of Business of Administration in 1984 followed by the Department of Accounting in 1987. Finally, the Department of Finance was established in 2001
