Gombak, 3 July 2022. Student Ibadah Camp was once a staple programme in moulding the worldview and the character of IIUM students. The programme seeks to provide a platform for the students to discuss and to shape the balanced graduates that the university seeks to nurture. Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) brought back the programme in 2019. Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Kulliyyah to defer the programme in subsequent years.
With the returning of students to the campus in semester 2, 2021/2022, the Office of the Deputy Dean (Student Development and Community Engagement) leads by Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Yazid Zul Kepli, AIKOL organises the Student Ibadah Camp for the graduating students within the financial and COVID-19 endemic constraints.
AIKOL alumni namely Bro Megat Abdul Munir bin Megat Abdullah Rafaie, Bro Adip Sabir Abdullah and Sis Nor Zabetha Muhamad Nor assist the graduating students by sharing the challenges and the preparation necessary to spread their wing in the world of legal practice and in the society at large.
