In light of the efforts toward intercultural understanding, the Toyota Foundation research grant project namely the Global Emphatic Multicultural (GEM) Takaromono Project, KOED is hosting a symposium that brings together Japan, Indonesia and Malaysia experts and teachers in sharing their expertise, experiences and cultural understanding in humanising education.

While Japan and Indonesia have their own wealth of experiences and knowledge inholistic education, Malaysia’s adoption of Falsafah Pendidikan Kebangsaan has its fair share as well.This symposium will follow through the recent event organised by KOED (namely “20 YEARS OF SEJAHTERA SYMPOSIUM) leading towards IIUM 40thanniversary celebrations.
