The English Language Proficiency Workshop for Preschool Teachers was held on 11 January 2025 at Al Amin Edu Oasis, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. Facilitated by Dr. Haziqah Zulaikha, Head of the Department of Language and Literacy, IIUM, the workshop aimed to enhance preschool teachers’ English competency to improve classroom instruction and communication. The interactive sessions covered strategies for effective language use, classroom integration techniques, and collaborative activities, providing practical tools for professional growth. Participants praised the workshop’s relevance and engaging delivery, appreciating the opportunity to network with peers. The event concluded successfully, marking a positive step toward strengthening English education for young learners.

Prof. Dr. Sabri Sahrir was invited to participate in a focus group discussion on Research in Language, Translation and Arabic Literature hosted by Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora , UIN Syarif Hidayatulah Jakarta, Indonesia

1. Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Sabri and Dr. Haziqah Zulaikha were invited to be a speaker for Pre-Gariif2024 workshop series. 2. The programme was conducted online via zoom, aiming to empower presenters with the skills and knowledge to effectively showcase their work at conferences, symposiums, or academic events where posters are commonly used.

Dr. Haziqah Zulaikha Aris was invited as a speaker for 21st Century Learning a Multiliteracies Pedagogical Approach at SMK Tambun, Perak.

Prof. Ts. Dr. Muhammad Sabri was invited as a speaker for the 9th International Conference of Arabic Language & Literature. This conference aims to create a platform for researchers and academics to present innovative approaches in linguistics and Arabic literature, foster global connections and cultural understanding, promote collaboration and knowledge exchange, and explore recent technologies to advance professional development in the field.

Prof. Dr. Ismail Sheikh Ahmad was invited to speak at the workshop on “Qualitative Research Form Theory to Practice.” This workshop is highly productive, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies for applying qualitative research methods. Attendees were introduced to 13 qualitative templates. The outcome included actionable techniques and templates that can be immediately applied in their ongoing research projects, fostering enhanced research quality and methodological consistency.
