The Kulliyyah of Education (KOED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), was pleased to contribute to the Ceramah Motivasi Tingkatan 5 programme held at SMK Tengku Kudin on 14 August 2026. The programme aimed to inspire Form 5 students to build confidence, stay motivated and work towards their academic and future aspirations. The session featured Dr. Haziqah Zulaikha binti Aris from the Kulliyyah of Education, IIUM, and Dr. Erwan bin Ismail from the School of International Languages and Global Communication, UTeM. KOED is pleased to have been part of this meaningful initiative and to have contributed to inspiring students to recognise their potential and pursue their aspirations with confidence and determination.

The English Language Proficiency Workshop for Preschool Teachers was held on 11 January 2025 at Al Amin Edu Oasis, Taman Melawati, Kuala Lumpur. Facilitated by Dr. Haziqah Zulaikha, Head of the Department of Language and Literacy, IIUM, the workshop aimed to enhance preschool teachers’ English competency to improve classroom instruction and communication. The interactive sessions covered strategies for effective language use, classroom integration techniques, and collaborative activities, providing practical tools for professional growth. Participants praised the workshop’s relevance and engaging delivery, appreciating the opportunity to network with peers. The event concluded successfully, marking a positive step toward strengthening English education for young learners.

Prof. Dr. Ts. Muhammad Sabri Sahrir was invited to deliver a talk on “Penterjemahan dan Kamus” at UIN Jakarta. 

Prof. Dr. Sabri Sahrir was invited to participate in a focus group discussion on Research in Language, Translation and Arabic Literature hosted by Fakultas Adab dan Humaniora , UIN Syarif Hidayatulah Jakarta, Indonesia

The programme was conducted online via zoom, aiming to empower presenters with the skills and knowledge to effectively showcase their work at conferences, symposiums, or academic events where posters are commonly used.
