Gombak, 28 November 2024. Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) continues its close collaboration with the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Red Crescent (ICRC) in disseminating the important awareness and practice of the International Humanitarian Law (IHL).
Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws together with Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Hisham Mohd Kamal discusses future activities under the collaboration with ICRC with Mr Charles Dorman-O’Gowan, the Asia Regional Manager for Global Affairs, accompanied by Ms Clara Chooi, the Head of Mission in Kuala Lumpur.
The parties look at several activities that could take place in 2025, with the ICRC providing support for resource persons and other assistance. Both parties agreed on the importance of disseminating the principles of IHL and contextualising the principles with Islamic teachings and other religious teachings.
