Gombak, 2 October 2025 – Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), successfully organised the Ihsan Madani Session on 1st and 2nd October 2025 at the AIKOL Moot Court. The two-day programme was designed to welcome new students and reintroduce returning students to AIKOL’s vision, mission, and student community under the theme of Malaysia Madani.

The session began with welcoming remarks by Prof. Dr. Ida Madieha Abdul Ghani Azmi, Dean of AIKOL, followed by a photography session. The programme followed by engaging academic and intellectual discussions. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Majdah Zawawi presented a session on “Understanding IIUM: From Establishment to Excellence”. The highlight of the morning was Session 3: National Aspiration – Malaysia Madani, which explored both Tawhidic epistemology and student perspectives, featuring insights from Dr Zati Ilham Abdul Manaf (Head, Civil Law Department), Dr Mohammed R.M. To encourage creativity and student engagement, a TikTok competition (#AIKOLMADANI) was organised under the theme From Vision to Action: Malaysia Madani. The afternoon session, titled “Hi Adik Junior!”, introduced students to AIKOL Syura Council and various student clubs, including LAWSOC, Moots & Client Consultation Clubs, Legal Aid Club, ALSA, and AIKOL Well-Being Club, before concluding with a tour of the Kulliyyah.
