AIKOL IS SEEKING ASSISTANCE FROM THE ATTORNEY GENERAL’S CHAMBERS FOR ITS CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

Putrajaya, 29 December 2023. Datuk Ahmad Terrirudin Mohd Salleh, the Attorney General of Malaysia welcomes the delegation from Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia at the Attorney General’s Chambers.

The Attorney-General concurs that the Chambers could contribute to improving the law school’s curriculum, particularly the final year courses involving the development of practical skills in the practice of laws, such as in advocacy.  Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of AIKOL, conveys the appreciation of the Kulliyyah for the willingness of the Attorney-General to assist in the enhancement of the curriculum at the law school.

Associate Professor Dr Wan Mohd Zulhafiz Wan Zahari, the Deputy Dean (Academic and Internationalisation), Associate Professor Dr Zuraidah Hj Ali, the Director of Harun M. Hashim Law Centre, AIKOL, and Mdm Shahnaz Zuriati Sabri, the Head of the Legal Practice Department explain the programmes available at the Kulliyyah and how the institutions could work together for the benefit of the profession.

Also attending the meeting are Dato’ Mohd Dusuki bin Mokhtar, the Head of Appellate and Trial Division; Tuan Mohd Iqbal bin Mohd Noor, the Director of Management Division; Puan Marzaitul Azura binti Mokhtar, the Deputy Head of Research Division I; Puan Norhayati binti Ahmad, the Deputy Head of Research Division II; Tuan Haji Mohammad Al-Saifi bin Haji Hashim, Deputy Head of Civil Division II; Tuan Muhammad Rushdan bin Mohamed, the Deputy Head of International Affairs Division III; Puan Rosmizan binti Muhamad, the Deputy Parliamentary Draftsman II; and Tuan Ramzi bin Osman, Deputy Head of Syariah and Harmonisation of Law Division.
