In a collaborative effort between Flagship 3.0 Community-Based First Aid (CBFA) and Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Bukit Goh, Kuantan, a program on First Aid awareness was held today by the dedicated CBFA team. Led by Project Leader Dr. Nurul’Ain Ahayalimudin, the team included lecturers and staff from Kulliyyah of Nursing and Kulliyyah of Science, IIUM, who joint forces to create an impactful event named ‘Introduction to First Aid.’
The event focused on equipping students with essential first aid skills and featured informative presentations on first aid principles. Dr. Nurul’Ain Ahayalimudin and the team led engaging demonstrations covering vital techniques such as CPR, the stop-to-bleed method, proper bandaging techniques, and general first aid practices. The practical hands-on activities aimed to build confidence among students, ensuring they could effectively apply first aid in real-life situations. The collaborative effort between the school and the CBFA team, which included students from Kulliyyah of Nursing, is part of a broader initiative to enhance health and safety awareness.
This joint endeavor not only enriched the educational experience of the students at SMK Bukit Goh but also emphasized the importance of community well-being. The team’s dedication, including the active involvement of the CBFA team members, is making strides in creating a safer and more prepared community.
