The Islamisation of Human Knowledge (IOHK) Kulliyyah of Nursing, in collaboration with Majlis Ugama Islam dan Adat Resam Melayu Pahang (MUIP), Jabatan Agama Islam, and several NGOs in Kuantan, Pahang, hosted the enlightening event, Syoknya Dakwah. The event aimed to foster understanding and dialogue about various religions and cultures, drawing participation from a diverse group of 93 individuals.
Renowned speakers delivered talks on different aspects of religion and belief systems. Dato’ Hj. Abdul Zaki Md Zain discussed Islam as the religion for everyone, while Ustaz Mohd Fadzil Mat Saman shared insights into the beliefs of the Orang Asal/Asli community. Mr. Muhammad Azim Abdullah Suhaimin provided an introduction to Christianity, and Mr. Adam Tan Jian Yang shed light on Hinduism and Buddhism.
Beyond theoretical discussions, the event facilitated friendly bonding between participants and the communities of Kampung Bukit Bangkong and Pekan Sungai Lembing. Engaging in sharing sessions and discussions, participants gained valuable insights into the cultures and traditions of the local communities. The event also featured recreational activities, including games like futsal, adding a fun-filled dimension to the proceedings. These activities not only entertained participants but also fostered camaraderie and unity among attendees.
Syoknya Dakwah proved to be a resounding success, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to learn, share, and connect. By promoting interfaith understanding and fostering community engagement, the event left a lasting impact on all involved. Kudos to the organizers and participants for their efforts in making this event a memorable and impactful experience.
