Objective:
The primary objective of the programme was to raise awareness among students from Form 2 to 5 about the risks associated with vaping and drug substance use. By sharing comprehensive information and engaging in interactive sessions, the aim was to empower participants to make informed decisions regarding their health and well-being.

Session Highlights: Understanding Vaping and Drug Substances.

The first session delved into the definition and various forms of vaping and drug substances commonly encountered by teenagers. This session was given by Dr. Junainah and Dr Siti Nur Illiani Jaafar

Presenters provided insights into the chemical composition of vape liquids and the potential health hazards associated with inhaling these substances.

This session also focused on raising awareness about the short-term and long-term health effects of vaping and drug substance abuse.

Interactive activities, such as quizzes, role play and draw a poster , were incorporated to reinforce key messages and encourage active participation. This session was conducted by Dr Siti Hajar and Dr Rif’atunnailah. Through role-playing exercises, students learned effective communication skills and problem-solving techniques.

Students had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in open dialogue with the speakers, fostering a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

In summary, this programme served as a vital platform for equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed choices regarding their health and well-being. By fostering open dialogue and providing practical resources, the programme aimed to empower participants to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
