By : Siti Shamimi Najwa Shamsul Bahari Pagoh – Malam Senandung Nuansa 3.0 is organized by the International and Culture Bureau of the Mahallah Zaid Bin Harithah Representative Committee (MRC) 23/24 in collaboration with Majlis Kepimpinan Pelajar (MKP) from Tun Hussein Onn University Malaysia (UTHM), Persatuan Jawa Parit Bugis and six associations under IIUM, namely Anjung Melayu, Inpac, Jixiang, Chingu, Kizuna, and Le Tresor. This collaboration has borne fruit with the successful realization of the Malam Senandung Nuansa 3.0 program, aligning with its vision, mission, and objectives to serve as a primary platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity through captivating performances that reflect the diverse cultures across the nation. The organization of this program also helps foster a deep sense of social responsibility among IIUM Pagoh students. The selection of the Pagoh Higher Education Hub Convention Center as the venue for this program was due to the spaciousness of the convention center, which provides a more comfortable and suitable setting for participants to perform. The convention center is also equipped with various facilities and equipment that help ensure the program runs smoothly. This program received a warm response, featuring 10 performances by students from the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), Politeknik Tun Syed Nasir Syed Ismail (PTSN), and the Parit Bugis Javanese Association. Malam Senandung Nuansa 3.0 began with a performance by the Atma Terala Dikir Barat Team from IIUM Pagoh, followed by a nasyid medley from the Alunan Sukma group, also from IIUM Pagoh. Next, there was a singing performance of a song by Dato’ Sri Siti Nurhaliza, presented by Muhammad Ikmal from UTHM, followed by a dance performance by Rentak Pujangga from IIUM Pagoh, and a traditional Malay classical song performance by Muhammad Faiq Haziq, representing PTSN. The program continued with a skit performance by the Language Club Alliance, consisting of the Le Tresor, Chingu, Kizuna, and Jixiang associations. Next was a lively guitar band performance by Symphony, under the Inpac association. Finally, the last two performances were a singing act by Aiman Emran, also representing PTSN, and a performance by Nada Sukma, a group of traditional musicians specializing in the Javanese Gamelan, which served as the closing act for the Malam Senandung Nuansa 3.0 program. According to the Program Manager, Muhammad Akil, “Malam Senandung Nuansa 3.0 program not only showcases the rich cultures found in Malaysia but also highlights cultures from around the world presented by the participants. This program has also helped to uncover hidden talents among university students in the Bandar Universiti Pagoh area. Additionally, this program is considered sustainable as it has successfully been held for three consecutive series.” “This proves that the Malam Senandung Nuansa 3.0 program has achieved its objectives by making a positive impact on all students, whether directly involved in the program or not,” he added.
