برعاية مكتب الندوة العالمية للشباب الإسلامي في ماليزيا، شاركت كلية اللغات والإدارة بالجامعة الإسلامية العالمية بماليزيا في المؤتمر الدولي الأول لتعليم اللغة العربية وآدابها، الذي نظمته جامعة السلطان أزلان شاه بمدينة كوالاكنسر في ولاية بيراك الماليزية ما بين 2 و4 يناير 2023. وقد تميزت مشاركة كلية اللغات والإدارة بإدارة الجلسة الرئيسية من طرف د. خالد الشطـيـبـي، وإلقائه عرضا تلخيصيا نيابة عن عميد الكلية الدكتور محمد أزرول أزلين عبدالحميد لبحثهما المشترك بعنوان: “الأخطاء الشائعة في الكتابة لدى دارسي العربية بوصفها لغة أجنبية في ماليزيا والحلول المقترحة- دراسة لسانية تطبيقية”. ترأس الجلسة الافتتاحية للمؤتمر مدير جامعة السلطان أزلان شاه تان سري نورالدين بن كردي، ومدير الندوة العالمية للشباب الإسلامي في ماليزيا الأستاذ ماجد محمد باضاوي، وتميز المؤتمر بحضور نوعي لافت  لنخبة من الأكاديميين يمثلون منظمة العالم الإسلامي للتربية والعلوم والثقافة (إيسيسكو)، ومؤسسة الأزهر الشريف، ومركز الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز لخدمة اللغة العربية، ومركز الدراسات العربية والمناظرات الدولية بجمهورية تركيا. فضلا عن نخبة من المحاضرين الباحثين من مختلف جامعات ماليزيا وإندونيسيا وتركيا ومصر أثروا المؤتمر ببحوثهم االقيمة، وتُوجت أشغال المؤتمر بإصدار بيان تضمن الخلاصات والتوصيات التي ستُرفع إلى الجهات المسؤولة. https://www.bernama.com/ar/news.php?id=2153431

In celebration of the World Arabic Language Day 2022 the MS Asia Educational Services & Development represented by its Director Dr. Mutawakkil Al-Fadni distributed gifts to students of Arabic for International Communication Programme on Wednesday, December 21st, 2022, at IIUM Pagoh. The Head, Department of Arabic Language Dr. Nonglaksana Kama on behalf of all ARCOM students extends her thanks and appreciation to MS Asia Educational Services & Development for this generous initiative.

The Department of Arabic Language, Kulliyyah of Languages and Management, IIUM Pagoh Campus wishes to congratulate Dr. Mohamed Abdelrahman and Dr. Nonglaksana Kama for receiving the Long Service Award (25 Years) in IIUM at the Staff Appreciation Ceremony 2021 organized by Management Services Division on Friday 16th December 2022.

The Department of English Language and Department of Arabic Language, Kulliyyah of Languages and Management IIUM Pagoh Campus have co-organized an online forum entitled Issues in Languages for Specific Purposes. The event was held on 13th December 2022 (Tuesday) at 2.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. (Malaysia Time). The online forum had involved 3 professionals in different fields of professions such as Aviation English, Advertising English and Tourism English. The respected guest speakers are Dr. Reshminder Kaur (Universiti Kuala Lumpur, MIAT Campus), Dr. Muhammad Madni (Islamiya University of Bahawalpur, Pakistan) and Madam Zalina Kemat (Kolej Poly-Tech Mara Batu Pahat), in which each of them was moderated by three postgraduate students of MTESP: Sr. Nurul Izzyana Binti Rahmat, Br. In conjunction with World Arabic Language Day 2022, the Department of Arabic Language in collaboration with Department of English Language, Kulliyyah of Languages and Management had successfully co-organized an International online forum entitled Issues in Language for Specific Purposes on Sunday, 11th December 2022, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Malaysia Time) The forum gathers 5 experts of Arabic Language for Specific Purposes from Brunei, Thailand and Malaysia to share their expert and experiences as Heads of Department in their prestige university. The invited speakers are Dr. Masamdi Ma Saa from Yala Rachabat University Thailand, Dr. Wilailak Wisetrat from Prince of Songkhla University Thailand, Dr. Achmad Yani from University Islamic of Sultan sharif Ali Brunei, Dr. Ahmad Bin Abd Rahman from University Malaysia Kelantan, and Dr. Fitri Nurul Ain Binti Nordin from University Teknolgi Mara Malaysia. The forum was moderated by Dr. Abd Kadir Sulaiman from International Islamic University Malaysia, Pagoh Campus. The panels have shared the experiences and challenges in teaching and learning of Arabic Language for Specific Purposes in their respective universities: Arabic Language for Medic-care Tourism.
