Gombak, 24 September 2022. Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) works together with Masjid Al-Syakirin, Gombak in offering the “Public Study Programmes in Shariah and Law” (Program Pengajian Umum Syariah dan Undang-Undang) to the public. In this collaboration, AIKOL provides the curriculum and instructors, and the mosque provides the venue and other facilities.
For the first course, Assoc Prof Dr Akmal Hidayah Halim and Dr Tajul Aris Ahmad Bustami deliver the course Administration of Muslim Estates and Wills (Pentadbiran Harta Pusaka Islam dan Wasiat).
About thirty registered students attend the intensive course at Masjid Al-Syakirin, Gombak
The Public Study Programmes in Shariah and Law is led by the Department of Islamic Law which is headed by Dr Uzaimah Ibrahim, with Dr Ghazali Jaapar coordinating the programme between the Kulliyyah and the Akademi Al-Syakirin under Masjid Al-Syakirin, Gombak.
The Public Study Programmes in Shariah and Law (Program Pengajian Umum Syariah dan Undang-Undang) is part of community engagement activities of AIKOL in achieving the goal of peace, justice and strong institutions which include the IIUM Legal Aid Services.
