The aim of establishing a new faculty by the name of the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences in the year of 2003 was with the aim of raising the standards of health sciences and also as a contribution to the national manpower or human resource in these fields. IIUM has a campus in Kuantan that houses medical and science-based faculties situated in Bandar Indera Mahkota, Kuantan, Pahang Darul Makmur. Currently, the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences is sited in the Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences Building of the Kuantan Campus.
In order to equip the students with both academic and soft skills, of course there are also student societies and Allied Health Science Student Society (HEALS) is the society under this kulliyyah.
