The Kulliyyah of Allied Health Sciences is proud to offer a new postgraduate specialisation in Clinical Linguistics under the Master of Health Sciences and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) programmes. This innovative specialisation focuses on the application of linguistic theories to language disorders across diverse populations, particularly in multilingual, educational and clinical settings.

Programmes Offered

At the postgraduate level, two programmes are offered under the field of Clinical Linguistics:

  • Master of Health Sciences (by Research)
  • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Health Sciences
Programme Availability

Applications are open throughout the year.
Intakes are usually offered in February and September, subject to university scheduling and approval.
Prospective students are encouraged to apply early to allow sufficient time for processing and research proposal review.

Entry Requirements & Eligibility

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including but not limited to:

  • Speech-Language Pathology
  • Audiology
  • Psychology
  • Psychiatry
  • Education
  • Special Education
  • Early childhood education
  • Teaching of English as a Second Language (TESL)

Other related qualifications may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.
