AIKOL ORGANISES CAREER TALK TO GUIDE FINAL-YEAR LAW STUDENTS ON LEGAL PRACTICE

KUALA LUMPUR, 12 May 2026 — The Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), successfully organised a special career talk titled “Career Path: To Practice or Not” at the Moot Court, Level 1, AIKOL.

The programme featured Puan Fahda Nur Ahmad Kamar, Adjunct Professor at AIKOL, as the invited speaker. The session was specially arranged for final-year students, particularly those from Sections 1 and 3 of the Bankruptcy/Insolvency, Company Winding Up and Foreclosure course.

The one-hour session aimed to provide students with practical exposure and valuable insights into the legal profession, particularly in relation to pursuing a career in legal practice. Drawing from her professional experience, Puan Fahda shared perspectives on the realities, challenges, and opportunities within the legal industry, while encouraging students to carefully consider their future career paths.

The talk also highlighted the importance of professionalism, ethical values, and dedication in serving the legal profession and the wider community. Students actively engaged throughout the session and benefited from the speaker’s candid sharing and advice.

Representing the Kulliyyah, Prof. Dr. Majdah Zawawi attended the programme and presented a token of appreciation to Puan Fahda in recognition of her contribution and support towards students’ professional development.

The programme reflects AIKOL’s continuous commitment to bridging academic learning with practical industry exposure, while preparing future graduates to become competent and responsible legal professionals.
