A SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGICAL PARK PROVIDES THE MEETING POINT BETWEEN THE SOCIETY AND THE UNIVERSITY TO ENABLE RESEARCHERS TO SERVE THE NEED OF THE SOCIETY INCLUDING IN ADAPTING AND MITIGATING THE IMPACT OF THE CLIMATE CHANGE

Girona, Spain, 31 May 2022. The team of the Climate Change Policy and Law Centre (CCPLC) under the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws attended a capacity building series at the University of Girona, Spain. The study visit is funded under the Erasmus + towards the establishment of the CCPLC. The coordinator of the Centre is Assoc Prof Dr Maizatun Mustafa.

The team from the Science and Technological Park under University of Girona explains the services of the park including providing entrepreneurship environment and internationalisation of the technology.  The park shares some of the projects relating to the climate change including water purification and environmental impact assessments.

Dr Anna Albar, the Director of the park shares with the members of the CCPLC delegation namely Prof Dr Sharifah Zubaidah Syed Abdul Kader, Dr Wan Mohd Zulhafiz Wan Zuhairi and Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib on how the park links research and the curriculum and the services and incentives provided by the park through industrial networks and intellectual property rights.
