Port Dickson, 29th November 2024 – The Legal Practice Department of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) organised a visit to the Court Martial at the Court Martial Complex, Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. The visit begins with a presentation on the military justice system and, after that, observation of a court martial proceeding. This rare opportunity allows delegates to appreciate the unique set of court martial rules and protocols and how they intersect with civil court rules. AIKOL hopes to continue organising similar visits, to provide staff with a deeper understanding of various justice systems and facets of law enforcement.
Siti Aishah Aslah and Shahnaz Zuriati Sabri, Head Legal Practice Department of AIKOL, IIUM lead the trip. Brigadier General Noor Hishmuddian bin Rahim, Legal Director General of Law, Army Headquarters and Major Adam Fahmi bin Ghazali, Staff Officer 2, The President of Lower Court are also in attendance. Academics and administrative staff of AIKOL are also present.
