GOMBAK, 6 January 2026 – The International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), through the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) and the AIKOL Alumni Wing (AAW), successfully held the Inaugural Distinguished Alumni Talk Series today at the Senate Hall, IIUM Gombak Campus. The prestigious event marked a significant milestone in strengthening engagement between the University and its distinguished alumni.

Gombak, 13 December 2023. Contributions from AIKOL alumni ensures the continuity of AIKOL Meal Assistance programme to AIKOL students.

Kota Kinabalu, 24 September 2023. Alumni of AIKOL from Sabah contribute to the development of the State of Sabah in different capacities. Dato’ Dr Jelani bin Hamdan in welcoming Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of AIKOL and other delegates, reminisces his student days in Petaling Jaya and emphasises the contribution of the university to the development of students as Khalifah.

Kuching, 30 October 2022. Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) meets the alumni of AIKOL in Sarawak to continue the engagement with alumni leading to the 40th Anniversary of IIUM and of the Kulliyyah in 2023.

Gombak, 27 July 2022. During the IIUM Takrim 2022, the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) confers the Alumni Community Engagement Award to Bro Lukman Sheriff Alias. Bro Lukman Sheriff Alias is an alumnus from Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL).

Gombak, 8 September 2022. It is certainly heartening to receive visits from alumni and for them to show concern on the continuous improvement of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL). The visit by Assoc Prof Dr Ani Munirah Mohamad, an alumnus of AIKOL, sparks discussion on improving the socio-legal research among law schools in Malaysia.
Dr Ani Munirah offers her assistance, after obtaining necessary approval from her office, to share with colleagues and students at AIKOL her experience in conducting socio-legal research. Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib accepts the gracious offer, and the proposed itinerary will be put in place by Dr Wan Zulhafiz Wan Zahari, the Deputy Dean (Academic and Internationalisation).

Gombak, 3 September 2022. The LLB (Honours) Class of ’90 celebrates their 32nd anniversary with a gathering at International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The camaraderie is fresh in the air.

Gombak, 5 July 2022. AIKOL Alumni Wing, the alumni wing of Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) is working with the Kulliyyah to relaunch the Give to AIKOL campaign that begun in 2019 leading to the 40th anniversary of the Kulliyyah (and the university) in 2023.
During the visit, Bro Zulkifli Jaafar and Dato’ Zuhri Iskandar bin Kamarzaman, both alumnus of IIUM are eager to lend their hand in bolstering the Give to AIKOL fund. The alumni noted the call from the government for universities to solicit funds and to generate income in achieving the vision of the university and the Kulliyyah.
