THE CONSORTIUM CONSIDERS SCIENTIFIC, ECONOMICS, MANAGEMENT AND ETHICAL ASPECTS OF ADDRESSING CLIMATE CHANGE IN DEVELOPING POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES ON CLIMATE CHANGE POLICY AND LAW

Rajkot, India, 3 February 2023. The team of the Climate Change Policy and Law Centre (CCPLC) under the Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL) attends a project meeting at the Marwadi University, Rajkot, India. The project meeting and study visit are funded under the Erasmus+ towards the development of the postgraduate curricula on the climate change policy and law. The coordinator of the Centre is Assoc Prof Dr Maizatun Mustafa.

The members of the meeting focus on charting the general framework of the courses to be included in the curricula that would be of most benefit to student undertaking such postgraduate programmes linking experiences and expertise from Europe and Asia.

The programmes, apart from the legal aspects, will consider the scientific, economics, management and ethical aspects for the students to have the understanding and the tools in confronting the issues of climate change.

The meeting and discussion are very much helped by the ever-able assistance from colleagues from Marwadi University.

Under Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, the special arm of the Kulliyyah, Harun M. Hashim Law Centre that provide the co-sharing facilities to the CCPLC.
