Gombak, 27 January 2023. Yayasan AmanahRaya (YAR) working together with Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws (AIKOL), chooses three deserving undergrade students to receive the full financial assistance.
Tuan Hj Khairuddin bin Harun, representing the YAR presents the agreements and the first payment to the Kulliyyah for disbursement to the students under the Dermasiswa. The Memorandum of Agreement (MoU) as the foundation of the Dermasiswa was signed by Prof Datuk Dr Noor Inayah Ya’akub, the member of the Board of Trustee of AYR, and the and Emeritus Prof Tan Sri Datuk Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, the Rector of IIUM on 16th November 2022.

The financial assistance includes payment for the tuition fees, accommodation, and stipends throughout the students’ years of studies. It is the hope of YAR that the assistance provided to the students eases their journey in reading law and to gain excellence in their studies.
Prof Farid Sufian Shuaib, the Dean of AIKOL expresses his appreciation to YAR for choosing the Kulliyyah, for believing in the value proposition made by the Kulliyyah and the contribution of the Kulliyyah to the development of the industry. Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Yazid Zul Kepli, the Deputy Dean (Student Development and Community Engagement) and Pn Ozaliyati Omar (Deputy Director) also attend the meeting.
